Hopeless Gamer

I’ve had a bit of a slump from playing mmo’s and computer/video games in general lately,what I’m finding is at the end of the night after all the chores are done I’m too fucking tired to do much more than sit slumped in my chair.

I think in part I’m spoilt for choice,xbox pinball?,Grand Theft Auto 4 on the PS 3?,Half Life 2 on the PC?,the crazy thing is the pail of tiredness is dictating what I play,a long way of saying no time,too many games.

Despite this, I’ve bought Age of Conan and as I’m paying a monthly fee to play it, its pretty much AOC and nothing else at he moment.

Age of Conan is a massive multiplayer online role playing game based on the setting portrayed in a series of Conan story’s written by Robert E Howard.

For the longest time Ive been a REH fan,I discovered REH after starting to read the sphere paperback novels published in the seventies that had the wonderful Frank Frazetta covers,but I digress.

I’m finding playing him a lot of fun,the targeting system seems a bit of a bit of clickfest,however that could be my inexperience in the attack mechanic showing.

Combo moves are nice and bloody, lots of gore, if you get a combo in at the end of the attack, blood spatters on the screen.

Busty girls abound,baddies are bad ass,and it all seems to fit in well with what I remember of Conan’s world.

Will I hit the mmo wall in couple of months?

Probably,until then,death,lamentation..etc.
